REFUND POLICY
Effective Date update: [ 6/27/2026]
Welcome to Logspeak. We are committed to providing a high-quality online language learning experience. Before purchasing any lesson or package, please carefully read our Refund Policy. By purchasing a lesson or package through Logspeak, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. GENERAL POLICY (online classes)
At Logspeak, all lesson packages and trial lessons are non-refundable.
Once a purchase has been completed, we do not issue refunds, partial refunds, or account credits except where required by applicable law.
2. NO REFUNDS
The following purchases are not eligible for refunds:
- Trial Lessons
- Monthly Lesson Packages
- Individual Lessons
- Missed Lessons
- Partially Used Packages
- Expired Packages
Please ensure that you are committed to your learning schedule before completing your purchase.
3. Lesson Rescheduling
We understand that schedules can change.
Students may reschedule a lesson at no additional cost, provided that the request is submitted at least 12 hours before the scheduled lesson time.
Rescheduling Rules
- Requests must be made at least 12 hours in advance.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 12 hours before the lesson cannot be accepted.
- Missed lessons or “no-shows” are considered completed lessons and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
- Rescheduled lessons must be completed before the package expiration date.
4. Package Validity
All lesson packages purchased through Logspeak are valid for 30 calendar days (1 month) from the date of purchase.
Example:
- Purchase Date: March 10
- Expiration Date: April 9
Students are responsible for scheduling and completing all lessons within this validity period.
5. Expired Packages
Unused lessons remaining after the package expiration date will automatically expire.
Expired lessons:
- cannot be refunded;
- cannot be transferred;
- cannot be extended;
- cannot be converted into credits.
We encourage students to schedule their lessons consistently throughout the month to avoid losing unused lessons
6. Missed Lessons
If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson without providing at least 12 hours’ notice, the lesson will be considered used.
In these situations:
- No refund will be issued.
- The lesson cannot be rescheduled.
- The lesson will be deducted from the student’s package.
7. Trial Lessons
Trial lessons are offered at a special introductory price.
Because these lessons reserve a tutor’s time and availability:
- Trial lessons are non-refundable.
- Trial lessons cannot be exchanged for account credit.
- Missed trial lessons cannot be rescheduled unless Logspeak decides otherwise at its sole discretion.
8. Tutor Availability
If a lesson must be canceled by Logspeak or by the assigned tutor due to unforeseen circumstances, students will have the opportunity to:
- reschedule the lesson at no additional cost; or
- receive the lesson back in their active package (if applicable).
No monetary refund will be issued.
9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact Logspeak Support before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their payment provider.
Submitting a chargeback for services that were provided or for purchases covered under this Refund Policy may result in:
- suspension of the student account;
- cancellation of remaining lessons;
- restriction from purchasing future services.
10. Exceptional Circumstances
Refund exceptions are made only when required by applicable law or when Logspeak determines, at its sole discretion, that extraordinary circumstances justify an exception.
Any exception does not create an obligation to provide refunds in future cases.
11. CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY
By purchasing any lesson, lesson package, subscription, digital product, or educational service from LogSpeak, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy, as well as any applicable Terms & Conditions available on our website.
Completion of a purchase constitutes acceptance of these policies, regardless of whether the customer has chosen to review them in full.
12. DIGITAL SERVICES & SERVICE COMMENCEMENT
The purchased service is considered to have commenced once any of the following occurs:
- a lesson has been scheduled;
- lesson preparation has begun;
- learning materials have been provided;
- access to a purchased package has been granted;
- the first lesson has taken place.
Once the service has commenced, purchases remain subject to this Refund Policy.

LOGSPEAK MEETUPS (IN-PERSON GROUP CLASSES)
The following additional terms apply exclusively to LogSpeak Meetups and in-person group language classes.
13. LESSON RESCHEDULING
We understand that plans can change.
Students may reschedule a group lesson at no additional cost, provided that the request is submitted at least 12 hours before the scheduled lesson.
Rescheduling Rules:
- Requests must be made at least 12 hours before the lesson begins.
- Requests made less than 12 hours before the lesson cannot be accepted.
- Missed lessons or “no-shows” are considered completed lessons and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
- Rescheduled lessons remain subject to availability.
14. CODE OF CONDUCT
To ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable learning environment, all participants agree to:
- Treat teachers, staff, fellow students, and venue personnel with respect.
- Refrain from abusive, threatening, discriminatory, violent, or inappropriate behaviour.
- Respect the venue, its staff, and its rules.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere.
LogSpeak reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour disrupts the learning environment or compromises the safety, comfort, or well-being of others.
In situations involving unlawful behaviour, threats, harassment, violence, property damage, or any serious safety concern, LogSpeak reserves the right to immediately contact the appropriate local authorities and cooperate fully with any official investigation.
Participants removed for misconduct will not be entitled to a refund.
15. SAFETY & PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Participants attend LogSpeak Meetups at their own responsibility and are expected to behave responsibly throughout the session.
LogSpeak is not responsible for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- Injuries or incidents resulting from a participant’s own negligence or failure to follow reasonable instructions.
- Incidents occurring outside the scheduled lesson or outside the designated meeting location.
To help maintain a safe environment, participants agree to follow all reasonable instructions given by LogSpeak staff and instructors.
If a situation presents a risk to the safety of participants, instructors, staff, or the venue, LogSpeak may suspend or terminate the session and, when necessary, seek assistance from the appropriate local emergency services or public authorities.
This wording is stronger from a legal perspective because it doesn’t claim to be “working with the authorities.” Instead, it states that you may contact and cooperate with the appropriate authorities when necessary, which is standard language used by schools, event organizers, and training companies. It protects your company while remaining reasonable and enforceable.
*Thank you for choosing LogSpeak. We appreciate your trust and look forward to helping you achieve your language learning goals in a friendly, professional, and welcoming environment.
